Maureen Clark

Maureen Clark holds a BA (Hons first class) and a PhD from the University of Wollongong, where she is an Honorary Research Fellow and Associate in the School of the Arts, English and Media. Maureen’s research interest is identity and cultural transformations in a postcolonial world, with a particular focus on the effects of acculturation and marginalisation in the (re)fashioning of the self. She is the author of Mudrooroo: A Likely Story (2007) and has published numerous chapters in essay collections as well as articles in peer reviewed journals. She is presently researching and writing the biography of Australian author and playwright Betty Roland.
