Alistair Rolls

Alistair Rolls is Associate Professor of French studies at the University of Newcastle, Australia. He is the author of a number of monographs on French literature, including, with Clara Sitbon, Origins and Legacies of Marcel Duhamel’s Série Noire (2018). He has also published a number of articles on Australian crime fiction, notably on Peter Corris and Arthur Upfield. His latest monograph is a study of Agatha Christie. He is currently working with Clara on a mapping of the international dimensions of the Carter Brown corpus, with an especial focus on France.
