Judith Wright: Corrections to Biographical Errors
Abstract
Veronica Brady's biography South of My Days was rather hastily published, to take commercial advantage of an Adelaide Festival which featured my work, and errors it contained have not yet been corrected since no revised edition has been published by HarperCollins; and unfortunately Philip Mead's article 'Veronica Brady's Biography of Judith Wright' (ALS 19.2, 1999) contains further errors or factoids which I feel must be corrected. The following points are a step towards correcting the biography and the article.
